Anyone who has been following the Best Friend Handbook knows that mascara would be my desert island beauty product. You know — if you were stranded on a deserted island like Brooke Shields in “Blue Lagoon”, and could only have one thing makeup wise, what would it be? Mascara all the way. Why? Because Shakespeare was right when he wrote that “the eyes are the window to the soul”. They are also the first thing that anyone notices about your face. So, having big, beautiful lashes to frame those eyes just makes everything pop. You look healthier, sexier and more present. Which are all good things.

However, finding the perfect mascara is hard. First off, there are so many friggin options. And second, what may work on your best friend, might not work for you. But don’t worry. I’ve got your back. I have made is my mission to find the perfect mascara. One that:

Trick McEvoy Makes the Perfect Mascara

Trish McEvoy Lash Curling Mascara is quite literally the most perfect mascara that I’ve ever found. It is one of those tubing mascaras so it coats every lash in an inner tube of blackness. And this blackness does not move. Just to give you some perspective, I put on my makeup at 7am the other day. Headed off to the chiropractor at lunch time with my makeup in tact. Laid face down on the table (which normally sends all of my eye makeup sliding off onto the paper covered head rest) to let her do her thing, and when it was done, my perfect mascara was almost perfect. Ok, there were two little specks of black under one eye. I flicked them away with my finger and continued on my day. When I went to take my mascara off at 10pm, it still looked good. That’s what I call seriously smudge proof.

Besides making your lashes look amazing, and not ever smudging no matter what you do during the day (ok, I haven’t tested it in a downpour yet….), one of the best things about this perfect mascara is that you can build up coats until you get your lashes to the exact right volume for you.
