My friend Lisa is always cold. It can be 75 outside and the woman’s wearing socks. Her husband, on the other hand, is always hot. The man’s basically a human furnace. So, sharing a bed can be a bit of a conundrum for these two comforter wise. They’re always at odds, and they’re not alone. Which is why this dual weight down comforter from the Company Store may be the most brilliant invention since sliced bread.
Even for someone such as myself who sadly has been hogging the entire bed for way too long, this comforter could be the solution for my menopause induced night sweats. I could start off the night on the heavier side since I keep my room cool and want the extra warmth. But then, when a hot flash hits, all I have to do is roll over to the lighter side. There’d be no tossing the covers off my bed in a fit only to have to wake up later and retrieve them again when my body cools down. Which seriously messes with the REM sleep. And for those of you who live in a state that actually has four seasons, this would be a great “transitional” comforter for those weeks in spring and fall when the temperature jumps around like a rabbit on steroids. Like I said, brilliant!
